New dates: 26–28 March 2026 at the Thessaloniki International Exhibition & Congress Center
The Forward Green and Renewable EnergyTech exhibitions will take place from 26 to 28 March 2026 at the Thessaloniki International Exhibition & Congress Center TIF-HELEXPO has proceeded with rescheduling the event dates, which were originally planned for 12–14 March 2026.
In 2026, Thessaloniki will once again host the most significant meeting for circular economy, green technologies, and energy transition in Southeastern Europe, with an enhanced international profile and an upgraded program of parallel events. The 2025 editions of Forward Green and Renewable EnergyTech reaffirmed the strength of the institution, with increased international participation of exhibitors and visitors, hundreds of business meetings, and a rich program of events that attracted more than 3,500 participants. Building on this momentum, the two exhibitions return with the goal of further strengthening their position as a hub for green entrepreneurship and innovation.
Forward Green will showcase integrated circular economy solutions, sustainable materials, green production practices, and modern resource management approaches, while Renewable EnergyTech 2026 will focus on RES technologies, photovoltaic and wind systems, hydrogen, biomass, EV charging infrastructure, and most importantly advanced energy storage solutions.
A highlight among the parallel events is the 4th Forum on Circular Economy and Smart Energy – HELEXPO Dialogues, organized in collaboration with Startcom S.A., the Green Fund, RAAEY, and the Hellenic Solid Waste Management Association (EEDSA). The forum aims to highlight contemporary policies, technologies, and applications in the fields of energy and circular economy.
In addition, cooperation with the Thessaloniki Chamber of Commerce and Industry is being strengthened, facilitating the participation of local businesses and encouraging regional production activity.
A central feature of the parallel program is the National Conference of Solid Waste Management Agencies (FODSA), organized by the FODSA of Central Macedonia as part of Forward Green. The conference brings together, for the first time, all Solid Waste Management Agencies of the country in a unified national platform for dialogue, focusing on modern waste management challenges, exchange of know-how, presentation of innovative technologies and circular economy solutions, and discussion of financial tools that can support the transition to a unified, sustainable, and more efficient operational model.
Furthermore, the exhibition program will include the “Kleisthenis” Conference of Municipal General Secretaries, which will highlight modern practices for urban resilience and sustainable development, featuring presentations and the exchange of best practices from across the country, in a setting that supports both physical and hybrid participation.
With strong international delegations, targeted business networking, and an upgraded program of thematic events, Forward Green and Renewable EnergyTech 2026 stand out as one of the most important green-development events in Greece and the wider region, strengthening cooperation, innovation, and the transition to a sustainable economic and energy model.
